Fairies are Real
Fairies. Do you believe in fairies? How big of an imagination do you have? In my philosophy class, we would be convinced of a philosophy, and then would naturally begin debating for or against that philosophy.
I don’t even remember what began the topic, but my professor – Professor Shannon Atkinson – said something about fairy myths. I jumped up and began to debate to prove that fairies were real. I dragged multiple websites and resources in which proved fairies were real. I had photos which were to “prove” fairies existed! We had their fossils. That’s evidence!
For the rest of the year whenever my professor wanted to make a point, he would bring up fairies, and I would have stand up for myself and my fairies again!
Lots of these fossils were proven false, but I wanted to prove that fairies were real so I brought in multiple resources which “proved” fairies existed.
Who knows what my point was for standing up for fairies? Maybe I was bored and wanted entertainment. Anyways, everyone remembers me from that class as “fairy girl debater”, and it is funny when I meet someone in a chemistry class a few years later who remembers me from my fairy debate.
So much for a philosophy class. It fit in more as a debate class.
I did this painting of a butterfly which lights up in the dark to show the mystery and how there is always more beauty than we know.
